The "11th Naxos Summer School on Diachronic Linguistics: Theoretical and Computational Approaches to Diachronic Linguistics" will be held from 19–24 July 2026 on the island of Naxos, bridging classic theoretical linguistics with innovative computational technology in a truly interdisciplinary framework. The summer school is organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with Arizona State University, University of Osnabrück, University of Cambridge, and the CIVIS Course "Diachronic Linguistics in the 21st Century".
Core Focus:
Exploring the complexity of language change through linguistic theory and computational tools.
This intensive summer school is designed for BA, MA, and PhD candidates with an interest in these themes. The summer school offers a unique opportunity for collaboration with leading researchers and broadening research horizons in an inspiring environment.
